Land Research Background
Since 1999 I have been collecting survey plats of colonial and state grants around the Orangeburgh District, S.C. and trying to map and locate them. I first focused on the land between the North and South Edisto River (the Forks area), but soon expanded to the North Side of the Edisto and then into the area of Orangeburgh Township. I have also worked on some of the area below the township. This website makes some of my research available.
What's New?
